Möller-Wedel Optical GmbH offers attachment achromats with different focal lengths for autocollimators/testing telescopes/collimators as well as for the measuring combination MELOS 530 and the centering testing instrument CIFOS. For interferometers, different types of Fizeau objectives and plane plates are offered. Test wedges are excellent for quickly checking the accuracy of autocollimators and collimator/telescope combinations such as the SIAM.

So-called Fizeau objectives (reference optics) are used for testing spherical surfaces. They generate a reference wave against which spherical specimens can be interferometrically tested. The Fizeau objectives are available with different radii (R(Fizeau)) and usable diameters (D(Fizeau)). In order to measure the total spherical area to be tested, the following condition must be met: R/D(Fizeau) ≤ R/D(test area). The technical data and the corresponding graph will help you to select the optimum Fizeau objective for your inspection task.

The transmission sphere system for the VI-direct 100 interferometer consists of an optical connector, which already contains parts of the lens system, and a transmission sphere system. The transmission sphere objective can thus be reduced to a minimum number of optical elements. The combination of connector and transmission sphere objective allows the test diameter to be enlarged. This results in a larger measuring range compared to standard 4 objectives. In addition, a D130 plano lens is available, which in combination with the optical connector, similar to a flaring lens, increases the test diameter of the VI-direct 100 interferometer to 130 mm by 30%.
