Radius Measurement Unit

Product description

We offer the appropriate equipment for radius measurement of spherical surfaces in vertical and horizontal setups. Note: The radius measuring equipment for the horizontal setup is specially designed for the interferometer VI direct series and cannot be used with other products.

Display for Radius Measurement

We offer a display unit in combination with a height-adjustable stand for vertical measurement setups for radius measurement with a MELOS 530 or an interferometer VI direct. The display allows the determination of the radius of curvature by directly reading the vertical position change from the apex of the lens surface to the center of curvature of the lens surface. The stand required for this purpose has an integrated measuring system with:

resolution: 1 µm
Accuracy: 3 µm

Note: This display unit is only offered with the associated height-adjustable stand! For heavy or large specimens, a horizontal setup is recommended.

Radius measuring unit (horizontal)

We offer the measuring rail with integrated magnetic scale in various lengths for radius measurement of spherical surfaces in conjunction with an interferometer. The associated adjustable holders for the test specimens are available separately.

Adjustable Mounts

Adjustable holders for test specimens, reference flats or objectives are available for the horizontal measurement setup for measuring flat surfaces (2-axis) and for radius determination (4-axis).
